Fisheye 5.

I could not pass up the opportunity to throw my bb at people for them to tag...1970´s legend Lava and people like Meres and CE were too kind...

5 Pointz

Painting at 5 Pointz was a huge deal for me. I have always had an attraction to bombed out buildings, but 5 Points was something new, something different. It was everything, the people, the graffiti, the style. I had chills running up and down my back all day long.

I wanted to throw something up that would attract people's attention, so I went to buy paint. I went to the world famous scrapyard and was amazed at the lack of everything they had. They had no black, no alien cans at all, an extremely small selection of 94. I was told by the manager that it was a bad weekend to buy paint, much of it had gone already to the Meeting of Style's writers.

So I grabbed a few cans, got robbed of my money for the paint (I'm used to paing 2-3 euroes for a can in Madrid) and went back to five points, after all, it would be worth it, and fuck, I WAS GOING TO PAINT AT THE MEETING OF STYLES IN NYC @ 5 POINTZ. I had to stop complaining.

I got there, took out my cans and began to think about what to throw up, I took a few walks around the building to see what other people were doing and decided to go to my recent style developed before getting over here. I had seen nothing that even resembled it so far...so I guess it couldn't be that bad...right?

I painted with Auks One, under some harsh sun and scorching heat, he totally killed the wall, I was amazed, I knew the guy was good, but damn, his style blew me away. It was a pleasure painting by his side, hopefully we can do it again sometime soon.

Enjoy the pics!

Look at that style...

The building is beautiful...

I'd like to thank Meres for letting me paint at this incredible event, getting props from him "for the static effect" on my piece made me really get excited. Also, I'd like to shout out to Auks One, again, it was a pleasure painting with you.

CE and the whole UK clan, thats whats up, really dope meeting you out there, Lava, Fearo... And lastly, thank you Andres, and Clot for the pictures and for the support you guys showed out there.

The piece goes out to Taken, Feño and Ase, wish you guys could've made it out there.

NY seen through my Iphone...

I took a quick weekend trip with some friends a few weeks back to NY. I painted at the Meeting of Styles with Auks One and met tons of heads that were a real inspiration. But I also had a chance to take a look around and see some really nice things...and interesting!

I also had a long overdue visit to ground zero and pay my respects. It was emotional being there and seeing the scar it had left, not only in the middle of the city, but on the people. On september 11th, I took a walk around Time Square at night and the tension in the air could be felt perfectly.

I didn't take any pictures. I didn't feel it would be appropriate.

Anyways, going on to the pictures...

MMM GIRLS? haha

Look at the ad in the middle. It was impressive.

@5 Pointz there were MANY layers of paint... they even said that it was in part thanks to these layers, that the building didn't have problems with the water, being such an old building and all...

Impressive BOMBED door @ 5 Pointz

This is where I would end up painting...

Macaroni and Boston

Tired of drinking? get a boost from gum!

I saw this bad boy and had to pick it up! haha

Nothing like Mac n' cheese.

More Obey work...

Boston legal

One of those days I was just wandering around, ran into Auks and he recommended I take a look at a show one of his friends threw up. Pretty interesting things, I must say...

Not being used to seeing Shepard Fairy's stuff around, I've been taking pictures of some of his work...

I loved the 2nd world war feeling I got from looking at this picture...

My man Auks One

One of the things I do as soon as I get to a new city is look up any art shops/graffiti supplies stores. I hadn't heard about this one and one day walking out of the gym I saw a sign about an arts & crafts supplies store.

Who would've known that I would run into such a badass writer. Auks One (X-Men crew) was there. I had the chance to take a peek at his blackbook... My jaw dropped. The picture does not do the sketch any justice. This man has SKILL.

I had the opportunity, the HONOR of painting with him a few weeks ago at the Meeting of Styles in New York. It was great to get a chance to see the guy in action. I will post pics shortly.

We have talked about getting some collaborations going on vinyl which I'm looking forward to doing...stay tuned!

Don't even think about missing his blog: www.auksone.com

This was the entrance to the store...

First days in Boston...

How I love this car.
Who doesn't need a boost sometimes?

This took me back to when I was a kid. I always wanted to be a firefighter.

This is a pretty cool old and abandoned house...close to my own house.

I'm back

Boston is great. Life is great. I haven't painted much apart from recently at the BIG event Meeting of Styles at 5 Pointz with my man Auks One. I have to say, it was one of the best events I have painted at so far...I met some of the first painters and therefore true KINGS of this movement. It was an inspiring moment and had a blast. I'm starting a new section, leaving the paint at a side for now, focusing on another interest; photography.

The section will be called "the week in pictures" I hope you enjoy it. My tools will be: my iphone, my fisheye camera and my Canon EOS 400D
